Sarah graduated with honours from Durham College and has received many awards including Nursing in Research. In her early nursing years, Sarah gained valuable experience in the hospital setting working with patients across a spectrum of health conditions, including cancer and end-of-life care. This has given Sarah the skills to compassionately care for her patients through many stages of treatment and their outcomes. Since 2013, Sarah has been working in fertility: a field she is very passionate about. She has received training from the country’s premier IVF centre, LifeQuest Center for Reproductive Medicine (now known as TRIO). She also has laboratory training from Roche Diagnostics and ultrasound training from True North Imaging and Esaote. Sarah’s extensive knowledge of fertility goes beyond any training capacity as she has undergone her own journey to motherhood. This allows Sarah to provide therapeutic and empathetic care to those she guides through treatments at Lakeridge Fertility. She is committed to nursing excellence in her field with a special focus on pregnancy and infant loss. Sarah’s insight as a fertility professional and a former patient makes her the perfect person to help others navigate their pathway to parenthood.
